For your sanity, here are some checklists that I use for skydiving.

Gearbag Checklist

Housekeeping (opening)

Always keep eyes open for other canopies during your housekeeping.

Fix heading (away from jumpers/jumprun) Visual inspection Open visor Collapse slider Remove booties Turn back towards DZ/holding area (using rears) Loosen chest strap Move legstraps down Inspect toggles (don't give yourself a knot from excess) Pop toggles and practice flare Adjust my vertical position for the pattern

Airport Checklist

Remember to repeat on your way home and undo when you're at the DZ:

Hook knife removed Audible & AAD off Handles covered (and rig covered)
